AUP Farewell Party Dec 2009!

Hey everyone!!!

This post is going to be a little special than the other posts I've made so far. Mostly because it is going to be the longest post I ever had to make... It's filled with all kinds of emotions that I'm happy that I could express it freely here...

On Monday night of the 14th of December 2009, we had our AUP Farewell party that everyone's been wanting to do for the past month. It was originally organized by KC, Jessica, and Katie. Thank you guys for making time and putting a lot of effort in making the night a very successful and memorable night...

It was suppose to start at 6pm, but of course, Malaysian timing delays that by half an hour or more. It was okay though, as it was unforgettable. The event was a potluck type of event so everyone brought along some food and drinks. Only problem was that everyone who arrived earlier than the others only brought food, no drinks. So, KC and I had to go and buy some so that everyone wouldn't die from dehydration or choking hahaha!

Okay, okay, time for some snapshots of the night! All photo's are thanks to Shane and Elvin! I stole it from their Facebook hehehe...

This is what Shane brought to the party and the one that's mixing it is Sie Hui. Oiiii faster la finish mixing it!!! I wanna eat it!!! Hahaha!

Jessica, Ryan, Elvin, Ms. Lim, and Myself shared to buy a pizza for the occasion... 6 large pizzas hahahaha!!! The bill reached RM113.00. Was quite a good price for 6 large right??? But it got devoured very fast...Hehehe...

Awww Nad and Jessy so sweet..

Sie Hui and May Chong pose!!!

Sue Yen and April!

Hahahahah!!! Go drink it in 1 shot!

Oiiii stop playing facebook laaaa!! Go talk with the other people!

Carissa's Smile..

Yen Loo what's up with the sad face laaaaaaa~~~

Everyone just mixing around~

Everyone wave bye to Sie Hui!!!!!! Jessica, holding the jelly saying "Sie Hui!! You forgot your silicon!!!"

FINALLY BOOZES!!!!!!!!!!... Not. Hahahaha!! Sparkling juices and carbonated drinks for the way~~~

I'm glad that we all did this... All these memories.. will be in our hearts forever.. As I see how time flies, it saddens me to know that I only have a very limited amount of time left for me to hang out with some of my closest friends...

Even if some of you forget about it in the future, these memories will always remain with me...

Bushido Wesley!!!!!! Continue eating please hahahahahaha!

Jessy and Vinod hahahaha!!

I remember way, way back then, how I met each and everyone of you...

I talked to Vinod for the first time in ENL 101.. We were doing our very first group exercise Miss Kamala, our lecturer, gave us on writing a thesis statement... Somehow our group ended up talking about scars and experiences we had from hospitals.. Vinod was telling about his injury he had experienced on his right leg.. Then, on one of the nights that I stayed back late in college I met up with him, JC, Amos, Zjen Thak, Fernie, and a few others at the staircase near the lift area by chance, where we all just talked and got to know a little bit of each other...

I met Fernie for the first time in ENL 101 as well, where we all elected her to be our class rep.. I got to know her a little better later on..

I talked to Jessy for the first time actually before the ED Board camp... Alexis was introducing her to us hahahah! It was weird how she suddenly popped into all of our lives, but it was a blessing to know her...

I met Amos for the first time last year during our PSY 105 class... Shaza introduced us, and instantly I knew that he'd make a good friend.. I was surprised at how well-mannered he was at the time, and even though he had a little trouble communicating at the time, he was and still is, one of the greatest friends to have... And I'm eternally grateful that we are still friends..

I met Zjen Thak a week after the first semester started, in PSY 105, where Amos introduced to everyone that he was his roommate... I first talked to him a little bit after Shaza's birthday party..I didn't know him too well at the time, but he gave me the impression of a straight-thinking, focused individual.. instead of the crazy psychotic guy I know and love... We'll still be seeing each other over in the US I hope, as we will be going to the same university hehehe..

I met Carissa and Wesley both during MAT 121 class in my first semester. They were sitting at the back while I was sitting next to Jean, Naomi, Sharmini, and Jae Yee.. We didn't really talk to each other much, but we still acknowledge each other.. I really talked to Carissa for the first time when it was the night before the exam.. She and Dana were staying back in college to study for the test as was I, and we decided to form a study group and went to the INTIMA Office to ask Joshan and Lik Pang and Bentan to help and guide us before our ultimate demise hehehe...

I met Jean, Naomi, Sharmini and Jae Yee for the first time in ENL 101, but we didn't talk to each other until we saw each other in MAT 121... And later on we got to know each other a lot better at the Freshie's Gathering... Jean became my first dancing partner from that hahahaha!! Naomi became my partner in ED Board, where I had just joined and asked her to come and join with me.

I met Charles for the first time in CAE, where he was always busy with his calculus work... Didn't really talk to him much until we all started hanging out in the INTIMA Office... and of course, the Council Camp hahahaha!!

I met KC and Katie for the first time in AUP when I kept hearing stories from some of my friends about two sisters that did quite well in their public speaking last year hahaha.. I only got to know them both a lot better afterwards...

I met Edison for the first time in ENL 101... He was the first friend I made in ENL 101, and we remained friends ever since...

I met Ryan, Chew, Daryl, Yenloo, Yahn Hui, Fang Kai, and Emmanuel in AUP, where I keep seeing them all arriving at the same time, always hanging out with each other, and usually seen doing calculus together ahahaha!! I got closer to Daryl later on when we were in the same class for ECO152...

I met Zack for the first time during INTI BALL 2008, where we shared a table for the night...

I got to know Pauline better from last semester... where we both were in the same class for STA 219 and after finding out from Zjen Thak that all 3 of us were going to the same University...

Each and every one of them.... I remember.. how they entered and changed my life forever...

Our principal walked into our party and was surprised by it.

She gave a little speech to all of us so that we'd all remember to be ourselves, and not forget from where we once came from after we're in the US... Awww Nad looks scared! Hahahaha!!

Hahahahaah!!! Yeah! That's how crazy things got!

Wow... Kiet gets excited too fast... see he already... hehehe..

Spotted!!! Ex-Avril May Chong in a scandal with two boys...and a cup... Hahahaha!!!!

Two guys, a girl, and a cup.

What is Jessy pointing at?!

Aiyo fail la... Who's finger is that... oh wait.. I think that was mine hahahaha!! Okay okay.. third shot!

Hahahaahah!!! Kiet came at the right time and can pose somemore hahahaha!!!

Oooo scandal already between Ryan and Vinod... poor Chew and Daryl... hehe.

Oh...my....

I am strong!!!!!!! RAWR!!!!!!! Hahahaha!!!

Miss Khor giving her speech.

Everyone listening to Miss Khor telling her story..

and I do mean EVERYONE.. Hehehe..

Suppose to be a candid photo... but got some posers already... hahaha!!

Awww.... sooo...

Amos giving us his speech... It was really funny and sweet at the same time hehehee..

After that, everyone started giving their speech to commemorate the night... Especially those that are leaving... I gave mine as well, but I gave only the brief, short version of it... Because I was afraid that if I had given the real thing, it would have definitely been a very long one and I would definitely shed a tear from saying it to everyone... But at least I can say what I want to here... Here goes..

I can't believe, that it's been this long already since I met all of you. It felt as if it was just yesterday, I was meeting you guys for the first time. I'm definitely a different person than I was during my school days before college. I was quite the anti-socialist back then, and when I came to INTI that all changed... I started learning what friendship really means from being friends with all of you... I started.. living. It's definitely going to be weird... not being able to see any of your faces anymore in the CAE Office...

It's going to be weird, not being able to hear Vinod telling one of his stories to all of us, and seeing him play football inside the office..

It's already weird, not being able to see that sincere smile of Carissa that brightens everyone's day... and her size 3 feet hahaha!

It's already weird, not being able to see Charles with his bluetooth earphone sets, doing his calculus exercise in the office...

It's going to be weird, not being able to see Amos' blurred expression anymore... not being able to hang out with him, and to put him to sleep by massaging him..

It's going to be weird, not being able to see KC watching 'Friends' on her MacBook, or doing her online class or assignments on it...

It's going to be weird, not being able to see Jessy blasting the music from her laptop into her ears, doing her assignments and work on her laptop with a gazillion tabs of Google Chrome opened up...

It's going to be weird, not being able to see and hug Zjen Thak in the office for fun..

It's going to be weird, not seeing Aaron inside the office, checking on his mail or the latest movie ratings or football results...

It's already weird, not being able to see Fernie and talk to her..

It's going to be weird, not to see Pauline, Lavene, Sue Yen and the rest of them...

It's going to be weird, not being able to see and joke around with May Chong anymore...

It's going to be weird, not being able to see Daryl, Ryan, Chew, Fangkai, Emmanuel, Yen Loo, and Yahn Hui together..

It's going to be weird, not seeing everyone of them and many more in the office anymore... I'll miss all of you terribly... To those who are leaving in January, thank you for giving me the opportunity to know you guys... and for those who will still be around.. let's make even more beautiful memories together with what little time we have left...

Everyone is scattered all over this map soon... some are lucky enough to end up together...

But if it's one thing we learn in AUP, it's never goodbye.. It's just a see you later... I love all of you, and I hope to stay in touch with everyone of you. You may not think that you've made an impact in my life, but I can honestly tell you now that you're wrong... Even the smallest things that you do.. Had an effect on me.. All of you have made me what I am today... Thank you...

Master of the Game

Hey all~

As promised awhile back, I'd tell you a little about the book I read during the Singapore trip called Master of the Game by Sydney Sheldon.

The book is really interesting as it tells the story of how greed can consume a family for generations. I was blown away by how the author wrote the book. He did his research very thoroughly as most of the places, if not all of them in the book actually exists and they are all real life happening events.

When I first started reading the Prologue, I thought "Hmm seems kind of sweet." I kept on reading until it was around chapter 2 or 3 of the book that I got to see the element of surprise the author is famous for. How the story then got so twisted and how it portrays the essence of humanity.

The book's most obvious life lesson that the author wanted to relay to the readers was that money isn't everything. Just because someone is rich, doesn't mean that they are happy. The saying that blood is thicker than water so needs to be reconsidered after reading the book. I find the book very... eye-opening.

I highly recommend you guys to read this as it really is a good book. It not only has a great story, but it also provides us with little bits and pieces of interesting history. Gave it a rating of 4 out of 5.

Day out with the Kepong Boy, Selayang Footballer, and Miri Dancer

Yesterday, I actually had a full list of things to do during that day to keep me busy and to stop procrastinating. I failed to do the first 2 things on my list which was going to the gym and then to the bank. Reason being that I got sick at the time with another migraine attack. So I decided to head on over to college to start on the other things on my to-do-list. I did some of them in the morning, but later on I met up with Vinod and Zjen Thak inside the AUP office which kind of made me procrastinate my work.

We went for lunch at Subway with Jessica and Jerusha at the time. Jessica and I shared a foot-long sandwich while Zjen Thak and Vinod had their own 6-inch sandwiches. Jerusha just had a cookie and we all just talked a lot over lunch. After we were done eating, Zjen Thak and Vinod invited me to go to Sunway Pyramid with them to window shop for some winter clothes before they leave. So yet again, I procrastinated my work that day to another day and hung out with both of them at Pyramid until evening.

They were both quite hyper over there and we all just talked and joked around here and there while spotting some hot girls on the way hahaha! We waited until Amos came to pick us up at Pyramid to go to his house in Kepong. On the way there, we stopped for tea at a restaurant that Amos said was good. I really liked the dessert he bought hahhaha! I think it was called... Tong Tsui if I'm not mistaken. There were a lot of variations of Tong Tsui but I enjoyed the peanut the most hahaha! It tasted really, really good.

After that we went to pick up his mom at her office. Over at the office everyone knew Amos since his mom is the boss. But they were all very curious of me, Vinod and Zjen Thak and some even came up to the car window to stare at us hahahah!! After his mom came, she drove all of us back to their house. This was the first time I went to Amos' house so I expected to see some green plants over there being the environmentalist that he is, and I was right. His house was decorated beautifully with all these plants and flowers surrounding a fish pond with a bench for people to just sit and enjoy viewing the fishes.

Inside, we stayed and hung out in Amos' room for a few hours. His room was quite nice and I like that he had did some creative things inside his room. He showed us some of his past artwork and it was really impressive to see how his talent grew each year.

Afterwards we went for dinner at Petaling Jaya, SS 2. Amos took us to this restaurant called.... Gosh I couldn't remember the first name but it ended with Paris. It was a chinese restaurant and I was really mesmerized with the service. The food came so fast, the tables were clean very fast, and the staffs were very polite. I accidentally ate something that I wasn't suppose to, but the staff and boss came to apologize to me that time which shows just how humble and polite they are to their customers. I gave it a 5 out of 5 star for service. Food was really nice as well. When we had already started eating, Celine came and join us for awhile.

The five of us talked for hours, and Celine was so happy that she finally made a comment to Vinod that he took it to his heart personally and wouldn't let go what she said the whole night hahahaha!! Poor Amos got bullied by Vinod and Zjen Thak at the time as well. They all started telling all sorts of stories back when they were living inside the My Place apartment opposite of our college. Most of it hilarious hahaha!

Afterwards, we went to the Starbucks nearby and hung out there until we had to go home. We had some heart-to-heart moments over there, everyone sharing their problems with one another. It was really nice. Celine had to leave early since her mom had arrived to pick her up. After that the four of us hung out there until it was nearly 11.30pm. Amos asked if I wanted to go home straight or follow them to SS 15 for awhile. I told him to send me back first since I still had my migraine actually, but it was feeling better at the time. Just that I was feeling very tired already.

Overall, it was a nice day out with all of them. Took my mind off of some things that had been happening so far. I'm suppose to be doing my to-do-list today but, I guess I'm procrastinating it again until tomorrow... maybe hahahaha! Till next time people!

Singapore Trip!

Hey people!!!

Okay, I know I've been so lazy to post things up on the blog and I have to apologize for that hahahaha! The holiday has made me become a very, very, VERY lazy person (even more so than I was before). Anyway, as most of you probably have known by now I went to Singapore last weekend to visit some old friends of mine. It was definitely a memorable trip I can tell you that hahahaha!

Okay, let's start from the beginning. Last Friday I went to Singapore by bus with my sister, aunt, and 2 cousins. The bus trip was okay I guess except for some noisy people upfront. I was seated away from my family all the way at the back row. The guy next to me brought his laptop to watch some movies on the bus. One time he was juggling between his laptop and his food that he almost dropped the laptop. Luckily he caught it in time or else he was going to pay for more than what he bargained for this trip.

I spent the whole bus trip reading on the book that I got from my sister's friend for my birthday. It was called "The Master of the Game" by Sidney Sheldon. It was a really, really good book to read and my praises and worships to the author. He really did his research before writing that book. I'll tell all of you more on that book on another post.

Anyways, when we reached Singapore, we headed for our hotel called the "Fragrance Crystal Hotel" in the Geylang area. My sister and aunt booked the place and didn't know that it was a red district area until I told them hahahahaha!!! FYI for those of you who don't know what red district means, basically it's where all the prostitutes work. Yes, you heard me hahahahahah!

We went for a fancy dinner at an Italian restaurant called Prego. It was seriously overpriced. Luckily, my sister's friend was buying dinner for all of us so we didn't have to spend a single penny for the food. I had the spinach for dinner and it was horrid. I literally threw up in my mouth. For being an Italian restaurant, it didn't really have that much pasta food selections. There were at least 3 birthdays being celebrated at the restaurant that night. Talk about coincidence huh?

The next day, I spent the whole day with my friends from Singapore. There was an Anime convention/festival going on and so they took me there. Some of them were cosplaying for the event and some were one of the organizers of the event. It was really quite an interesting event and I really enjoyed myself. I waited for them at the MRT station to go to the event. Elena told me to wait for her at 2.30pm. It was 2.50pm until I called her and she said she'd be there at 3. So I waited and saw Cass at the station with Makoto and Vincent. We were all waiting for Elena to show up. You see a lot of interesting people inside the MRT I tell you. There was a transvestite walking past us while we were waiting, and there was also a guy wearing only boxers with a fishing pole and another guy wearing a pink dress. Yeah, the image was burned into my brain.

Anyway, it was 3.30pm that time and Elena was still no where to be seen. So we all decided to just ditch her at the station and meet her at the event hahahaha!!! The ticket lines were quite long but we managed to get them faster than we anticipated. Elena showed up later on and didn't recognize me hahahaha! She thought Cassie's cousin was me and said "Wah! You changed a lot wei!" Hahahahah!!! There were a lot of people cosplaying at the event, and some of them I have to admit looked really hot and sexy. But some just ruined the image of the characters like this dude cosplaying as Roxas from Kingdom Hearts. He was not only overweight, but he had too much make-up on him. Yeah, that ruined the image of Roxas for me forever.

There was also a Moe Moe Cafe inside the hall where the waitresses dressed up really cute, like characters in anime that are wearing maid costumes. Unfortunately, the food costs a bomb from what I heard. Later on, we found Claude managing some of the artworks display during the event. We were all looking for Denise where she seemed to have been out of the radar of everyone. Elena was pissed that we couldn't find her. After a long search, we finally found her cosplaying. She was tired already from doing all sorts of posses while people took pictures of her. We were all feeling kind of parched later that day and decided to go and have a drink at Starbuck's Coffee. Over there, we met up with Ivan. He sort of reminded me of LP in a lot of ways. And we all had a shock of our lives later on when we found out that he was actually 28 years old when we thought that he looked 20 hahahaah!

After filling ourselves with some Starbucks, we went back to the event to get Claude and Denise's stuff to go out for dinner. There were two groups going for dinner, us and the cosplayers. Denise and Claude went to have dinner with the cosplayers while the rest of us went for dinner at Just Asia. It took quite awhile for us to get a table inside that place, but we managed to eventually. The food wasn't that bad I guess. Something like what you can find in Asia Cafe.

After that we all cam-whored at the Christmas tree outside the building. It took quite some time as Ivan was trying to be a perfectionist in taking the photo hahahahah! Elena got fed up waiting and she just used her DSLR and cam-whored herself hahahaha!!!

When we finished cam-whoring, we went to the station and said our goodbyes. On my way back to the hotel, a prostitute approached me and asked me to hire her. I kept saying no thanks but she kept persisting. She was about 30-40 years old I think. Then when she wouldn't give up, I said "Sorry I'm gay." and I thought that was going to stop her. She then responds with "Oh, I can go both ways." Yeah, let's just end the story there HAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!

On Sunday, my sister, cousin and I went out for breakfast while my aunt and other cousin stayed over at a relative's house. The taxi drivers are really nice over there. Anyways, we ate at a Singaporean version of a Mamak store. It wasn't that bad really. Afterwards we went and shopped at a flea market nearby. Prices were just dirt cheap at the time hahahah! Afterwards we went to the station and waited for the bus to go home. And that was about it for the Singapore trip. It was really quite interesting, especially the prostitute part HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Till next time people!

2 Months of Agony!

Hey people,

Sorry I haven't been updating. Just too damn lazy to blog these past few weeks hahahahah!

Anyways, now that I finally got my 2 months break, I find myself lost in what I should be doing. I feel so empty this holiday due to the fact that almost everyone I know and hung out with is on holidays or has gone over to the States already. And those on holiday are gone for about a month or so. I tried to look for a part-time job for this month, keyword being 'tried', but there's just nothing that catches my eye.

I tried to do some Ed Board work to fill up my time, but there just isn't that much left to do right now. We might be getting a sponsorship for color from NST (News Straight Times) but that is yet to be determined.

I've been trying to read off some books I got from a friend of my sister, but whenever I tried to read it something comes up and stops me from reading it. The title of the books are "Master of the Game" by Sidney Sheldon, and "Mistress of the Game" by Tilly Bagshawe based on Sidney Sheldon. I'm starting with the first book I mentioned and so far it seems very interesting. Good thing to fill up my time for about... 2 days I think before I finish reading it.

I'm thinking that I should be taking a class on self-defense or something in the lines of that, cause lately I've been feeling the need to punch something. Release of some stress hahahahaha!!! So far nothing came across my mind just yet, but I'm keeping my eyes and ears wide open for anything interesting, cheap, and nearby.

I should be registering myself in TOEFL soon, but I haven't had the time to go to the center and register just yet... Okay that's total bull crap since I've got nothing but time on my hands right now. I'm just too lazy to walk there and register hahahaha!

I'll be taking my driver's test soon hopefully, when my mom and stepfather gets one of their friends to teach me. Don't worry, I'll give everyone a fair warning when I get to be on the road hahahaha!

I've been craving to watch some movies lately, but there just isn't anyone to go and watch it with. It's kind of boring to watch movies alone, and I lost interest in watching soon afterwards.

I've been playing some online games again since I got my internet line back inside my house. Been addicted to this new game called Emil Chronicle Online, or ECO in short that LP introduced to me some time ago. Damn you LP!!! Because of you I've become a lifeless soul once again! SOBZ... Hahahaha!!

Will be starting a new blog soon after hearing someone's suggestion. Don't worry, I'll still update this blog hahahah! That new blog is going to be a little more... professional based. I'll be writing something like reviews and stuff like that on that blog, but I'm not entirely sure yet on what reviews I'd be doing on just yet.

I'll be going to Singapore this Friday until Sunday hahaha! Will be meeting some old friends of mine in Singapore after not seeing them for almost... 2 years I think? And we've all known each other for about 6 years hahaha! Damn that's one of the longest friendship I have thus far hahahaha!!! Will let all of you know how that trip goes when I get back.

I think that's all I can say for now as there isn't much story in this holiday to write on. Oh well, progress everyday I guess. See you all next time!

Goodbye Brother..

Tonight I say goodbye to a close friend of mine. He left for holidays in Japan and from there he'll be going straight away to the States. I won't see him again until he comes back around middle of next year.

He was my first real best friend for a long time. I wasn't as close to anyone as I was to him. He knew things that I've kept hidden from the world. He was there for me when no one else seem to have been there.

The first time I met him during INTIMA Week on my first semester at INTI, I was thinking "Wow this guy dresses like one of those serious reporters or bosses...". Never did I thought that he could be as silly and blur as I came to know after getting closer to him.

Back then, he became my personal driver after awhile at some period of time. We'd go and get ourselves lost in KL just to look at some books or some gadgets. I remember one time, we forgot where we parked the car and we went looking for it for quite some time hahaha! We both guessed the wrong floors for the car.

We'd always eat together most of the time. He'd sometimes feed me with tuna because I resembled a stray cat apparently. We'd always share a foot-long sandwich from subway and split the bill and cookies. We usually had the same taste for food so it wasn't a problem for either of us.

We'd share with each other our experiences, our happiness, our pains, until at some point we became as close as brothers.

Until a few months ago, we started drifting away from each other and didn't talk that much anymore. We still talked with each other, the occasional "Hi" and "Bye" but that was about it. We didn't really eat together anymore. We were both dealing with our own problems I guess, and we started to lose each other from there.

Not too long ago, we started talking again, but not as much as we did before. Better an improvement than a loss I'd say.

He's the most forgetful, blur-cased, unselfish, polite, push-over, anti-socialist, Apple promoting, Mac loving, race junkie, knowledgeable, easy to bully, driving monkey, crazy dancing, failed at cute acting, anime loving dummy in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD! But I'm proud to call him my brother...

I'm not going to miss you because I already do miss you, and I won't be able to see you until you come back for summer. Even if we don't talk as much as we did before, I know that we won't lose touch of each other, because like it or not, your stuck with me as a brother forever. Take care over there bro...

Surprise Party!

Hey everyone!

Alright I'm a little late but I'll update you on what happened on Sunday hahahah!!

At first I had a nice lunch with Edison, where he bought me a slice of cake from Secret Recipe and a Beryl's chocolate hahaha! We ate at the Old Town White Coffee at SS15, which was okay2 only I guess. It wasn't so bad, but not that great either haha! Our lunch lasted about an hour until he had somewhere he had to go, so I was stranded with nothing to do until Sie Hui picks me up for the movie later. So I just wasted about two hours inside FTZ, the cybercafe. Waste of money to be honest, there wasn't much to do there alone.

After that I just went to college for a little while and checked who's around. Apparently a lot of students are still having exams, I think it's the diploma students. They were studying all over the concourse and the reading room. Then I met Kiet at the reading room and I just talked with him awhile until he had to go somewhere and meet someone.

Around three something, Sie Hui came to college and picked me up to go for the movies, but we were early so we went window shopping first. After that, we went to pick up the tickets where we met Pok over there. "Surprise!" both of them said, and so it was Pok, Sie Hui and me at the movies. I asked who else is coming, and she just played the fifth amendment on me. On the way out of the movies we saw Tynnkerbel. What a coincidence! Apparently her excuse was that she was meeting some old secondary friends for a movie over here. Okay... Didn't buy that for a second hahaha!! She said her other half couldn't come because he had some family dinner going on.

We went to look around for a little while until the movie started. Then on the way back to the cinema, we met Ben & Stephy where he said surprise!!! He told me earlier that he had some counseling work to do so he couldn't come. Apparently, I was his patient of the day hahaha!! So then the six of us went for the movie, 'Law Abiding Citizen' which was awesome!!! Gave it a 9 out of 10 rating. Tell you more about the movie on another post. After the movies, we walked around for a bit until it was seven sharp. Then we headed to TGI Fridays for dinner.

There, another surprise was waiting for me. JC, Zjen Thak, Vinod and Kiet were waiting for me there. JC even brought along Squat hahahah!! I was so surprised because it was really unexpected! Especially Vinod and Zjen Thak being there because they already said earlier that they had to go to Selayang to attend a wedding. They came all the way back to celebrate with me. Thanks guys!!!

A little while later, Jerusha and Hafizah joined in as well. Wow, really didn't expect a lot of company that night so it was really a surprise for me. They got me to wear this green cat ears that JC made for me the whole night hahahah! They also gave me 'Dexter' season one and an English-BM dictionary translation hahahahahah!!! Thanks everyone!!

Later on, they made me stand on the chair, the usual TGI Fridays tradition. I had to blow my candles from far far away hahahaha!! After that I had to find a cherry in a pile of whipped cream with my mouth, where JC, Vinod and Zjen Thak so kindly pushed my head deep into the whipped cream hahahaha!!! After that I splattered some on Tuan Tynn, JC, Sie Hui, Ben, and Zjen Thak hahaha!!

We then had a group photo session before leaving the restaurant. It was kind of funny and chaotic at the same time hahahaha!!! After that Sie Hui, Poke, JC, Tuan Tynn and myself went for an after-party to get drunk on fruit juice over at Asia Cafe hahahaha!!! It was great as we ordered 2 jugs of different fruit juice and mixed them all together. We were telling each other all sorts of lame jokes and even some racists and dirty ones as well hahahah!!

After that we called it a night and went back home. It was the best birthday I've had thus far. Thanks everyone for making my birthday a very happy one! You guys are the best and the only wish I made on that day was for me to be able to continue my friendship with everyone. I love you guys! I'll post the photos of the night once I finish snatching all of them from all the cameras hahaha!

Connected again! Halloween Dinner! Movie!

Hey people!

Yes the title does seem messy because there are three things I'll be writing about on this post hahaha!

First, I'm connected online again!!! I finally managed to get the P1Wiimax. It was kind of random. It was a regular Friday afternoon and I was going to go for a movie with LP and Sie Hui. I wasn't planning to look for the P1Wiimax guy at all but suddenly, there he was right in front of me. Of course I couldn't pass this opportunity even though it meant an extra trip to the bank which was like on the other side of the world! (Yes, I'm being over dramatic)

Anyways... After I finished getting it, Sie Hui and I were waiting for LP to arrive which he took his time... A LONG Time to reach. When he finally reached, he was busy being a tutor to all the CSC 101 students who are having exams later on. After a few hours, we left to go to Pyramid.

First we had dinner at Pasta Zanmai. Very very nice and very very expensive hahaha! Sie Hui and I extorted LP of his wallet to pay for the early dinner hahahah! Thanks LP! They took me out that Friday to have an early birthday celebration hahah!

After that we went for the movies. We watched "The Time Traveller's Wife" which was so so so good and romantic and sad! Loved it lots. Sie Hui and LP ended up in tears at the end. I almost cried, but it wasn't strong enough to break me to tears hahaha!

LP then sent me home along with Sie Hui. He gave me two of his bags filled with textbooks and told me I could keep them including the bags. Thanks again LP!

And that was Friday hahaha! Fast forward to today! Halloween night!

Nothing much to say about today other than the Halloween birthday dinner my family took me for. We went to the Manhattan Fish Market for dinner. It was quite nice, not bad but the Halloween special wasn't really my cup of tea.

That's all there is to say for now hahahha! My birthday will officially be in 2 more hours hahahah! So far my plans for tomorrow is just going to the movies with Sie Hui and later have dinner. Everyone else is busy tomorrow I think. Tell all of you more about it tomorrow night hahah! Till then!

It's Over!!!

The last test of the year!!! Finally it's over!!!!!

As you probably have realized, I'm talking about my final exams for this semester. I just finished it about an hour ago with satisfying results.

I was worried at the beginning that I would fail both my subjects and that I would have to repeat them all over again. But as I did the papers, I found it to be very easy. Just that for my statistics exam I did not have enough time to finish the paper so I lost a few marks there.

I counted my marks that most likely I'll be getting at least a B for both of them. I'm aiming for a B+ or an A- though hahahah!

Finally I have some time for myself. I'll be able to start posting regularly again! ... Well not that regular as I still haven't gotten an internet line for myself. But I will be soon when I can actually find a P1 Wiimax person. It seems that when I need to find one of those guys, they don't seem to show up anywhere. Anyone got an idea where their office is in Subang Jaya?

Anyways, I'm gonna go off for now as I want to start celebrating my freedom! Tell all of you about the updates some other time!

Last two weeks...

The semester is finally coming to an end. In less than two weeks, I won't be able to see familiar faces that I'm so used to seeing in college anymore. I have to say goodbye to most of them soon. It's sad to see friends go, but it's good to see them move on and advance in their lives, getting closer and closer to their dreams.

I'll miss seeing Jessica, who do's her best in being a 4.0 and not to mention an incredible friend.

I'll miss seeing Zjen Thak, being his crazy self and doing so many random things.

I'll miss seeing Vinod, playing his futsal inside AUP, and always show how much he cares for his friends.

I'll miss seeing Aaron, always checking on the latest movies and giving us updates on it, and his robotic personality haha!

I'll miss seeing KC, always doing work on her MacBook inside the AUP.

I'll miss seeing Daryl, always 'Daryling' people all over college.

I'll miss seeing Edison, even if he does have face problem hahaha! (Just kidding)

I'll miss seeing Jean, always being a little blur and a little crazy at the same time.

I'll miss seeing Joel, being his blurcase self in college, yet still up for anything.

I'll miss seeing Pauline, always getting bullied by Zjen Thak, or was it the other way around haha!

I'll miss seeing Stella, her friendly smile and humor that lights up AUP.

I'll miss seeing a lot more people than just the few that I've mentioned above. I won't be able to see their faces in college anymore after next week. It saddens me to say goodbye to them but I know that I should be happy for them. Selfish me, thinking of how I'd feel when they leave, when I should be thinking how would they feel, leaving everyone they know to go to another country.

Let's all make lots of memories together, in these last few weeks we have together.

A Comforting Hand

It's nice to know, that even as everything started crashing down there are still people out there, still understanding and still cared for you. A lot has been going wrong this past few months, and I seemed to have been distancing myself from mentioning my problems to my friends. I did not want to spoil anyone's mood so far so I've tried my best to keep up a smile.

It seems to be a hard thing to do nowadays as conditions started to turn from bad to worse. But it's nice to know, that I still have friends out there who care for me. I had started breaking the walls around me and seek comfort from some of my friends. I hated the idea of burdening them, but if I didn't do so, it would just kill me.

I guess this was another way of reaching out to people, being closer to each other. We tell each other what our problems are, and we seek a comforting hand from one another to get through all of this. It keeps the world going round. They say that the world isn't perfect, but I'd like to think that perfection is in the eye of the beholder, and to me, this is what makes the world perfect.

Sorry guys for being such an imbecilic troublemaker, and thank you.

Bye 'Atuk'!

Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't been posting. I lost the internet connection at my house and a lot of things have been happening since the holiday started last Friday. Today's post will be a little bit emo so for those who hate it when I write emotional stuff on my blog, you've been warned.

I found out last Friday that my grandfather, or 'atuk' as me, my siblings and my cousins like to call him, was sick. He had cancer, and my family and I didn't heard the news until Friday. He's been diagnosed with cancer for the past 6 months, and last week they told us he had only a few days left to live. We were all shocked by this piece of information.

When we went to visit him after hearing that last Friday, he looked so different, so sick. He couldn't walk, he couldn't talk, he couldn't move at all other than his fingers and toes. Even moving those were a struggle for him. I couldn't help myself but cry when I saw him like that.

I remembered the times when I would visit him often when I was little, with my dad, mom, brother and sister. We always had fun at his house. There was no sadness, no suffering, just happiness. I used to see my grandpa and grandma working n their garden, trying to grow some vegetables for themselves and flowers as well.

Then, I remembered playing in their house with my cousins. We were playing tag inside the house and our grandmother would be yelling at us, but grandpa was always the 'cool' one and joined in the fun with us. He always had a smile on his face, never showing any sadness. We played pirates, we played card games, and many more inside that house.

During Christmas, everyone would gather in grandpa and grandma's house to be together. I remember that they would always have the same small Christmas tree every year, but with different decorations on it. Below the tree would be our presents from them, which were always so nice.

When I was just a little boy, he would carry me around, going to places. He would introduce me to some of his friends. He would teach me things about the society that I didn't already know. He would help me with some of my homeworks in anyway he can. He would always be there whenever I needed comfort. I'll miss all of what he has been doing for me a lot...

Grandpa always had a smile on his face. He never showed sadness in front of anybody intentionally. He loved to make people laugh. He loved to joke around. He loved all of us equally, regardless of our sins or whatsoever. He loved making our faces smile whenever he can. He cared for his friends. He cared for his family. He was William Harry.

I can't hear your voice anymore. I can't feel your comforting hand anymore. I can't see your smile anymore. I can't smell the cologne you use to wear on you anymore. I can't taste anything that you cooked anymore. It saddens me for this to happen, but I know that a piece of you would always remain in our hearts.

You have touched our lives in so many ways. We grew so much from having your presence. You made us all happy, and we hope that we did the same for you. I shall say goodbye to you, without being sad, as I know that you wouldn't like it. Bye 'Atuk'!!! Take care on the other side and say hello to 'Papa' for me!!!

In loving memory of William Harry
A good husband,
A good Father,
A good Grandfather,
A good Friend.

Fig & Olives at Sunway Pyramid

Restaurant Review Time!

It's that time of the week again! Time for me to review some stuffs that I can't really do on the INTI Insider because of all the sensorship the management of ICSJ gave me. Yes!!! Time for an eye scorching review of things you like, things you hate, things you don't even know about! This time, I'll be giving a review to the restaurant Fig & Olives, located at Sunway Pyramid.
I went there with Bentan, Sie Hui, and Susan to eat dinner because Tarbush was already full at the time. We all decided to eat at Fig & Olive at the recommendation of the information's desk. When we first got there, it looked so empty and we were wondering that if it's empty because the food wasn't good or what. Boy our questions were answered fast. The service there was kind of horrible. The waiters weren't exactly easy to call on. But they do give a service with a smile, even if they are ignorant towards their customers.

Next, the choices of the food. The food wasn't exactly spread out in variety. It was more focused on western food. Another thing I would like to complain is the menu. Their descriptions of what they have are horrible. Some don't even have descriptions. Like their specialty drinks. They just put the name of the drink and the prices which ranged from RM9.50-RM10.00 without even a description of what the drink really is as they changed the names of the drinks to their liking. We had to ask the waiter to know what we were ordering for our throats to hydrate on.

The food portion, I can't really complain on it much. It was quite big even if the prices are a little bit expensive. I'd say it's worth it as the food portion is enough to stuff you full. Not to mention that it tastes quite nice as well. But I would like to complain on their Sicilian Tuna Penne was that it wasn't spicy enough. I tried it with one bite from Sie Hui and I could tell straight away that it didn't feel spicy at all. It felt more like tomato ketchup from a bottle than a homemade chilli sauce.

Besides that, the atmosphere was nice I guess. But it can't win as a romantic date spot as there are no secluded or quiet tables around. More towards friends gathering and family lunch/dinner. Overall I think I'll give it a rating of 6 out of 10.

Ramadhan Bazaar Feast

Hey people,

Sorry that it's been awhile since I last posted. I currently have no internet connection at home, so I had to come to college on a Sunday to leech off the WiFi. Anyways~ Moving on to what happened last week on Thursday.

Sie Hui had planned to eat with Bentan that day after we all called him the day before to join us to eat. Unfortunately he was busy at the time so planned for the next day instead. We hadn't decide on where to eat, but we were definitely sure on meeting with each other at 6pm. Then, J.C. Suggested that we go to the Ramadhan Bazaar near SS18 like we did the week before. So we all unanimously agreed as Sie Hui and Bentan haven't had any bazaar food from there yet.

There were six of us going at the time, 2 cars. J.C. was driving Tynnkerbel and Daniel there first and Ben was driving Sie Hui and I. Funny thing is, we got there first before they did even though they left first hahahah! Apparently they got stuck in a traffic jam along the way.

Since we had reached there first, we decided to survey the place and check out which food we all wanted to buy. There were so many choices, but then again most of them are selling the same old thing. The bazaar at SS18 was big I guess, but it felt smaller than it was last time. There wasn't really much variety foodwise as everyone was selling basically the same thing at the same prices. Though some chose to be entrepreneurs and sell it at a cheaper price or at a larger quantity.

Anyways, after J.C.'s group reached the place, we started buying our food already. We bought a lot of food from the bazaar that day to make it look like a feast hahaha! For myself, I bought a Nasi Ayam, Nasi Tomato, and Kebab Pita. The rice was nice, but the kebab was horrible. I regretted buying it after I ate it.

Before I eat of course, we were waiting for the time to break my phast to arrive, and we all went to Asia Cafe to eat our spoils of bargains. Bentan and I ordered a Large Tropical Fruit Juice from AC, which looked seriously good. It was a three-layered fruit drink. Bottom layer was Dragonfruit, middle was Mango, and to top it off, Honeydew. All of you should try it sometime. It's seriously good.

Our table was so funny as it was infested with food everywhere. And here's the good part. No utensils to eat it with hahahaha!! Bentan had the idea of getting some utensils from buying some chicken from Uncle Bob's Chicken. It worked in a way, he got two forks and two spoons. I just ate my food with my hand since I'm use to it already. J.C. and Tynnkerbel were eating their portions with some of the utensils Bentan got as well. Don't ask me how four people use two forks and two spoons to eat. Hahahaha!!!

Bentan and I got a little high on the fruit juice. Then again, Bentan was already feeling high before hahaha! For me, I get high when I drink any fruit juice. It's like my beer to get me drunk. We all started talking lots and lots of crap at the table and laughing our heads off everytime. We got so full when we finished eating everything, especially Bentan as he bought a lot of food at the bazaar with a side-dish of chicken from Uncle Bob's hahaha!

He agreed to send me home so we said goodbye to Sie Hui and walked to the direction of his car along with J.C. and Tynnkerbel behind us, walking at the same direction. The two of them were staying away from both of us as we were acting like complete drunkards at the time hahahahah!!! This is what happens when I drink any fruit juice. After that, Bentan dropped me off at my guardhouse where I saw my aunt and cousin there waiting for my mom and sis. I was wondering what's up and why are they waiting here. Apparently my other cousin just had her third baby that day. Yay!!! I have another nephew~ They still haven't decide on a name for him yet though haha! But he's so cute and little and so red hahahaha!!

Anyways, that's all for now. I need to go and finish up my lab reports and assignments now before I procrastinate it until the very last minute again. See ya people!

New Old Hobby Revived!

Hey people,

Okay, don't worry I'm done with the emo posts for now hahaha! I was feeling too inspired during those times that I just couldn't help myself. Anyway, moving on to a newfound past time of mine. I've recently been feeling very interested in giving people massages again.

I use to like giving massages, even when I was little. I always watched how happy those people on tv or my family members and how relaxed they were whenever they got the massages. All their troubles and worries seemed to have washed away from them. It seemed as though it had some magical powers, my thoughts were back when I was little. And so I started getting interested in giving people massages, because I wanted everyone to be happy at the time.

But after awhile and a few chain of events, I had lost interest in giving and receiving massages. That is up until I started in INTI. Back then, I think it was Alexis who got me interested in giving people massages again. When she was massaging the stiff necks of others, as I watched her perform it, the magic from when I was little came back, little by little. Though, I still didn't like receiving massages, unless I completely trust that person.

Nowadays, I've really gotten interested in giving massages again. I even bought the oil for it. But unfortunately, I don't really have a practice dummy on which I can train myself in giving massages. I got Benjamin to help me out in practicing the neck and shoulder massage, but that is without using any oils. He still enjoyed it though hahaha! I'm gonna try and see if he wants to be my practice dummy for the other parts as well. Then I could at least improve my skills as a masseuse hahahaa!!

Besides Benjamin, honestly I don't really know who else would like to get free massages. Amos was my practice dummy before for the neck and shoulder and slight back as well. But now that he's not in INTI anymore, I can't practice on him anymore. Sad...

I've been watching a lot of online videos on different techniques for massaging, but it all seemed still too good for me. Some of them are simple, and I know how to do it. It's just the amount of power that I have to use on different people are different. So I'm not really sure if I'm doing it too soft or too hard. This is why I need more practice with this... Especially with using the oil for massaging. I still haven't used it on anyone besides myself, which was on my legs. It felt good, but not as good as someone else doing it for me.

Another problem if I wanted to practice using the oil on anyone would be location. I can't really do it in my room as I'm sharing it with my brother, and it's quite hard to find someone who stays around and would like to try it. I can stay over at the person's house I guess, but then it still depends on things like if the person is comfortable with it, and what day would it be as I have classes on every weekday. Probably the only free time I have is Saturday and Sunday.

Oh well, I guess I'll try my luck with asking some people like Benjamin. If I'm lucky, I could find someone who would let me try it all. We'll see how it goes. Okay, enough procrastinating. It's time to finish up some assignments and prepare for INTIMA Week!

Fear

Everyone feels afraid once in awhile. But what happens when we let fear take control of our lives? Should we just stand idle and let it happen, or do we fight? Even if the fight were to be endless, should we continue to fight? Can we actually say that we'll keep fighting regardless of how tired or how exhausted we are...?

There are many things that I'm afraid of right now. I'm afraid of being alone. I'm afraid of losing friends. I'm afraid of letting others down. I'm afraid of being a lost cause for everyone. I'm afraid of saying goodbye to people. I'm afraid of being betrayed again by others. I'm afraid of losing control. I'm afraid of the future. I'm afraid of being away from home. I'm afraid of being at home. I'm afraid of trusting people. I'm afraid of it all and more...

Do I let it control my life, or do I stand and fight, or do I run away from it all?

I chose to avoid it, but I still stand my ground trying to fend off that eerie feeling. Above all else, I will most definitely not let fear take control of my life. I may be of no use to myself, but I can still be of help to others who are facing problems as well. We can't let fear stop us from hoping.

For when there is Hope, there is a chance for Love, Faith, and Peace to exist...

A New Beginning. . .

Class has officially started already, as the September semester began just 12 hours ago. Wow, can't believe it's been more than a year since I came to ICSJ. I still remember, the first day that I became an INTI student. The first friend I made in college, J.C. The first group of people I hung out with, Naomi, Jean, Sharmini. My first lecturer, Miss Kamala. The first club I joined, Editorial Board. The first college event I went to, Orientation Night of May 2008.

I still remember, the first time that I told anyone my secrets. It was only to those few people, whom I could trust with my life. I could always count on them. I wish I could have more time with them, but life has to go on at some point and we can't be in paradise forever.

The day that I went out with friends for the first time, just for fun, was with all of you. You asked me like a normal person, with no strings attached. Not out of pity, or out of exploition, but just for the fun of hanging out. Something that I haven't experience in a long time. It felt so good, to be a friend and not a victim.

When I was drowning in misery, all of you were there to pull me out of that depth of darkness and into the surface of light. I had completely given up hope in anyone helping out of kindness, until I met all of you. I didn't want to accept it at the time, that there couldn't exist such warmth, such kindness, such sincerity... But it all changed in time. All of you successfully cracked open the shell that I've been hiding under for more than 10 years... just with simple sentences like "What are friends for?", "It's never too late", "Don't give up", "Whenever you need someone, I'm always there for you", "We're brothers aren't we?", "Your closer to me than anyone here *****". I'll never forget those words...

The first working experience I ever felt, was wonderful. The people that I worked with, I couldn't ask for better co-workers. I felt the responsibility, and the feeling of being needed. For once, there wasn't a voice that said I was useless, that I can't help anyone. I loved the feeling of being wanted. It may sound like a selfish reason to help others, but that reason has made it possible for me to be of service to others. I grew so much from the experience. Both from working as a student helper in INTI, and for working inside the Editorial Board. Thank you...

My first birthday, that I celebrated with friends instead of just my family. All of you did it unsuspectingly, that day I thought that you were just being nice and said that you wanted to throw me a party. "That it was just all talk, but still nice of them to mention that", I thought at the time. It caught me by surprise when all of you really did do the party. I felt so accepted by everyone, so appreciated. The warmth that all of you gave me, I'll remember it always.

When I was far away in a different country, feeling down, all of you talked to me online, or sent me an email. We just talked, and it took my mind off of all the sadness that was in me. I didn't feel sad at all when I'm talking to all of you. I felt free, to be who I really was infront of you guys.

So much has happened in a span of a year. Many bonds were made and broken in just a year. Some I wish didn't have to end, and some I am grateful that it continued. I've had to say goodbye to so many good friends, that it makes me grief with such sadness. I can't believe that they're gone, just like that. Some have left for the U.S.A. and some had left INTI to pursue their careers or other studies, while others have completely lost touch with me that we never speak anymore. To those close friends of mine, thank you for all the wonderful memories that we've experienced. Especially to Han Sen, Alexis, Lik Pang, Amos, Sie Hui, Jonathan, Suzanne, Yi Qian and the rest of you guys. You've been the best, and I've had so much fun with all of you. I can't believe that most of you are gone from INTI already, but even if I don't believe that fact, it doesn't change what reality is. I'm happy for you guys, truly.

After this semester, I'll lose even more friends. But I'll still have them for this semester. And I'm happy to be with all of them like Zjen Thak, Naomi, J.C., Jessica, Kiet, Sandy, Vinod, Joel, Daryl, and the rest of those who I haven't mentioned. All of you have touched my life in some way, and I hope that we could spend more days together than what's been given to us. It's a new beginning that I'm afraid what the outcome might be, but I won't know until I move forward.
Thank you everyone for all the memories that I cherished that was made with all of you...

ED BOARD Seniors and Others Farewell Party!!

Hey Guys and Girls,

Now this took place on Wednesday, 29th of July 2009. The committee of ED BOARD and I wanted to throw a farewell party to the seniors of ED BOARD who were leaving such as Alexis, LP, Han Sen, Suzanne, Han Lim, and our unofficial member, Jonathan hahaha!!

The day started with us finally deciding that we would throw the party at Windmill's Restaurant. We booked the place already, but we failed to realize that Windmill was actually a tad too expensive for our tastes. So we changed the location at the last minute to Manhattan's Fish Market Restaurant. The price was slightly lower than Windmill's, so it was acceptable by everyone.

J.C. and I were the first to arrive and so we booked 20 places for the party. After that we went for a walk around Subang Parade and looked around for a nice cake and some farewell cards. Unfortunately, all of it were too pricey so we had to scrap that plan. Instead, Sie Hui and I came to a conclusion of buying donuts for everyone instead.

Everyone arrived at the Malaysian time of course, which was about half an hour later than what we discussed hahaha!! As the price was quite expensive, most of us ended up sharing our food as the portion was quite big. LP, Sie Hui and I shared one platter which we couldn't even finish it ourselves. And the platter was originally made for two people.
While everyone was eating, J.C. and I went out to get the donuts for everyone. It was a bit of a stretch for the both of us as everyone had not paid for it so we ended up using our own money for it.
When we got back, everyone in the committee asked me to deliver a speech to commemorate the evening. Well, I had no other choice but to do so I guess. The other customers were giving us the stink eyes but who cares! It was our farewell to those who were leaving.
Of course, there were a lot of pictures being taken that night. Too much that I can't post all of it on the blog unfortunately. But I will post some that are quite interesting I'd say such as these!

Oh my gosh this is too hilarious!! Paparazzi shot!
A picture of a picture of a murder taking place haha!!
Grandpa eating style hahaha!!
Table 2 eating pose
Table 1 eating pose
Sizzling hot platter!
Foreplay during dinner!
The bill was more than what we thought. As you can see from the picture, it reached to that extent for 20 people! I guess it's not that bad, but still! After paying the bill we had another cam-whoring session for a little while before we part our ways and went home. We'll miss all of you! A memorable night for us all, especially on the holes on our wallets and purses!

Group shot!
