Genting Recon Mission

Hey people I'm back~!!

My humblest apologies for not updating the blog for about 3 weeks. Haven't been in a good bloggy kind of mood for awhile now. But whatever! Point is right now I'll be updating the blog regularly again. I have so many things to tell all of you, but I shall start with some recent news. The Genting Recon Mission!

Last Saturday LP, Naomi, Alexis and I went to Genting Highlands to do a little recon mission for our club trip that will be taking place on the 13th of June. We were checking out the prices of the apartment at LP's apartment in Genting. It was about halfway up of the mountain near Gohtong. On the official Ed Board club trip we will be staying at LP's apartment as well as another apartment near his. We checked the price of the apartment for one night and it was quite expensive. It was about double the price we were expecting. Luckily though, LP's dad knew the guy so we got a discount for the apartment.

After that we were planning some of the games that we would be playing during the trip. It was quite confusing at first because some of the ideas we had was cancelled due to some transportation problems the participant would have that day. So instead we had to think of some alternatives. But before we did that, we decided to visit INTI Genting to see what their campus is like and were we surprised by some of the things they had. For one thing, they have a french cafe setting as well as a hotel bedroom setting as a classroom which was like, wow. Words could not describe it. They also had a futsal field and a romantic bar setting near the main entrance of the campus! Along with some flower and vegetable gardens. There was also a very very photogenic happy-go-lucky cat around the compound as well. It was sooo kawaii desu!!

When we were done with the visit, we were feeling quite hungry so we went to hunt down a restaurant for us to fill our stomaches. Most of the shops there were chinese restaurant and so they weren't exactly halal food. So we settled for some mamak store to eat. Sorry guys. The food wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either. It filled our stomaches I guess.

After that we went back to LP's apartment to check the size of it and the other one that we would be renting as well. We counted how many people could sleep in each apartment. Apparently each apartment could fit a max number of 15 people if some were to sleep on the floor. That would be the worst case scenario if there were too many people going for the trip.

After our inspection of the apartments, we went up to Genting to plan out all the games that we would be playing during the Ed Board camp. I was the model in most of the pictures that we took to plan some of the games we would be playing then. It was really fun to walk around Genting to look for good game spots. Although it costed us a bomb to eat there though. After we jot down what we needed to plan everything out, we left Genting and went back home at around 7.30pm.

It was so much fun I can't wait until the Ed Board camp day arrives ahaha! We're going to go up to Genting again later on the 6th of June to clean up the apartments as well as test the games out. Can't wait for that either!

  1. Qisti... I don't remotely own the apartment. Hell I don't even own my own time!

  2. Well if we're looking at facts, your family owns it and technically you are part of your family so in truth the apartment is yours as well =p
